Mary Liz Cameron is a partner in Cameron & Richmond, PLLC. Her practice focuses exclusively on landlord / tenant law and primarily on eviction services for multifamily and single-family landlords. Born in Gastonia, North Carolina, she now lives in Charlotte.

Before co-founding Cameron & Richmond, Mary Liz worked in private practice with a law firm representing landlords and then in house as counsel for a large multifamily owner and operator with properties throughout the Southeast. She decided to focus her practice on representing North Carolina landlords because the practice enables her to draw on her pragmatic approach and find logical and fair solutions to resolve disputes efficiently and effectively.

Mary Liz helps clients manage their properties responsibly by providing clear guidance and staying compliant with complex housing regulations. She takes the time to listen to clients and fully explain the legal process. Since North Carolina landlord /tenant issues can escalate quickly, Mary Liz takes pride in finding expeditious, efficient, fair, and practical solutions that minimize conflict and help clients move forward past the issues.
