Stephanie Richmond is a partner in Cameron & Richmond, PLLC. Her practice focuses exclusively on landlord / tenant law and primarily on eviction services for multifamily and single-family landlords. Originally from the Florida Keys and Space Coast, she grew up spending time in the Western North Carolina mountains and chose to live in Charlotte after law school to be close to both the mountains and the beach.

After moving to Charlotte, Stephanie began her legal career working for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee before joining a private law firm, where she represented multifamily and single-family landlords. After almost 10 years at the firm, she then worked as in-house counsel for a single-family property manager that operated in 11 states. In 2024, she co-founded Cameron & Richmond to concentrate her practice on landlord / tenant law.

Stephanie takes a collaborative approach to her practice. She focuses on negotiation and conflict resolution, striving to work through issues to a favorable outcome. Settling disputes with both parties feeling satisfied is an important goal, especially since her practice involves people and the homes where they live. She endeavors to build strong client relationships based on clear, effective communication and responsiveness and takes time to talk through strategy with clients, so they understand the goals and why they are important to accomplish. She finds it satisfying to work through issues collaboratively to reach a positive result for her clients.

When she is not working, Stephanie enjoys sports, including tennis, and cheers on the Florida Gators through all their ups and downs.
